Opus Plasma

Opus Plasma is a cutting-edge skin resurfacing treatment that improves skin texture, reduces wrinkles and enhances collagen production with minimal downtime.

What is Opus Plasma?

Opus Plasma is an advanced fractional plasma technology that combines radio frequency (RF) energy with microplasma to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production. This non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment effectively addresses fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin texture, delivering smoother, younger-looking skin.

At The Hughes Center in Cherry Hill, NJ, we offer Opus Plasma as a customizable skin renewal solution that provides noticeable improvements with shorter recovery time compared to traditional laser treatments.

WHY CONSIDER Opus Plasma?

  • You want to improve skin texture, tone and elasticity
  • You’re looking for a non-invasive treatment with minimal downtime
  • You want to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars
  • You prefer a treatment that boosts collagen production for long-term skin health
  • You’re seeking an effective alternative to traditional laser resurfacing

What is Treatment Like?

Opus Plasma treatments typically take 45- 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

A topical numbing cream will be applied 1 hour before the treatment.

During the procedure, a handheld device delivers plasma energy and radio frequency heat to targeted areas of the skin, stimulating the natural healing process. Patients may experience a warm, tingling sensation, but discomfort is minimal.

After treatment, mild redness and swelling may occur, similar to a mild sunburn, but these effects typically subside within one to two days. Unlike traditional resurfacing lasers, Opus Plasma has significantly shorter downtime, allowing patients to resume normal activities quickly.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Most patients see noticeable results after one session, but for optimal improvement, a series of three to five treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended.

Full results develop over three to four  months as collagen production continues to improve skin quality.

What Else do I Need to Know?

Opus Plasma is safe for all skin types and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and other areas of concern.

It is highly effective for treating signs of aging, sun damage and acne scars while maintaining a gentle approach to skin renewal.

The skin should be prepped with medical grade skin care for two-four weeks prior to beginning treatments.

Patients should be well-hydrated before treatment.  We recommend a minimum of 64 oz. of water intake two to 4 days pre and post treatment, and a topical CO2 hydration mask provided by the Hughes Center to enhance treatment outcomes and reduce downtime.
